The Georgia Marble Company
plants at Tate, Nelson, and Marietta, Georgia, are slightly
north of central Georgia. A circle with a
radius of 1,000 miles covers practically all of eastern,
central, southeastern, southwestern and Midwestern United
States. Freight rates are equitable. A number of rail
routes offer rapid service to all sections of the country.
The ports of Savannah, Jackson and New Orleans are
nearby and expedite foreign shipments and shipments

“The Kennesaw Marble Co., Marietta Ga., have recently completed the installation of a twenty-five ton electric crane and runway, and are much better equipped to handle orders in record time. Our illustration shows a partial view of the back yard of their big plant with the crane ready to do business. The runway is all of steel 350 ft. long by 70 ft. wide, which gives them one of the finest travelers in the south.”
